With its intriguing social connotations, #RETHINK project is intended to urge the viewers to reflect, and maybe even change the habits and behaviours that have a tremendous impact on our future.

The visual elements used in collages refer to universal connotations, values, ​​and emotions. Juxtaposition of these elements aims at forcing the viewer to reflect on the problems and phenomena that concern us all. Having realized the root causes of these problems, one will have an opportunity to change their attitude towards them.

The social impact of Banksy and his work was the inspiration for this project. Additionally, it is an attempt to place photography in the zone previously reserved for StreetArt, graphics and stickers.

#RETHINK project uses photography as a universal language and visual medium understandable to the public. In some works, photography and collage are supplemented with additional elements (e.g. blood), which helps strengthen the message and impact of the work. The project’s core consists of five pieces focusing on drought, geopolitics, eating habits, information bubbles and the growing division of societies. The formula of the project allows for expansion and adding new pieces devoted to different topics.

I hope that the pieces included in the #RETHINK project will have influence on the audience, will lead them to reflection and maybe even contribute to improving our shared future.
